David Duchovny and Téa Leoni look pretty lovey-dovey cuddling on our April cover, don't they? Well, gues what _- that's exactly how they are in real life. Here's what we learned about the Hollywood power couple during our exclusive photo shoot.

David knows how to make quite an entrance.

When the couple arrived at the 10:30am shoot in Malibu, Téa glowed in casual jeans and a T-shirt, but it was David whose duds really stood out: high-top Nikes with no socks, a soaking-wet white T-shirt and purple and black Jams. He'd just come from a morning swim. "I swim three miles a day," he explained to Redbook photo director Bruce Perez and creative director Tracy Everding, before they dispatched him to the hair and makeup chair.

He trusts her with a blade.

Before photographer Timothy White began clicking away, David rubbed his chin and turned to his wife sheepishly: "You know, I think I'm a little rough." No problem: Téa grabbed a razor and shaving cream and gave her man a quick shave on the spot.

They look good in anything.

An hour later, after makeup artist Joe Sterettel and hair stylist Ken Paves added finishing touches to the already gorgeous pair, they emerged in their first outfits: David cleaned up nicely in a crisp, lilac-striped shirt and jeans, while Téa wore a ribbed V-neck sweater that accentuated her stunning blue eyes.

And while they switched outfits twice more (Téa slipped into beige linen pants and a coffee-colored camisole, then a white blouse and jeans; David kept his jeans, but also tried on a periwinkle dress shirt and a snug black crew T-shirt), one thing remained constant _- they couldn't keep their hands off each other! Even when the camera wasn't rolling, they'd continue to snuggle, talk closely and gaze into each other's eyes.

Throughout the shoot, we couldn't help noticing just how relaxed (and smitten) they were. After Téa accidentally cut herself on a nail from a wooden bench and bled on David's shirt, she wasn't bothered in the slightest. She quickly changed shirts and was soon back in her husband's arms _- they held hands as if they were high school sweethearts.

A strong marriage makes for a strong family.

The presence of their 6-year-old daughter, West, two-year-old son, Miller, and fluffy dog, Blue, showed just how tight David and Téa's family is. Mom took a break to snack on a salad West made her with fresh-picked greens from a nearby garden. And even as his mom and dad posed for pictures with Blue, Miller was only a few feet away, playing a friendly basketball game with stylist Linda Medvene. Sigh _- even Hollywood couldn't conjure up a more picture-perfect family.
