David join "The Joneses"
David Duchovny, Demi Moore and Amber Heard have joined the cast of new film "The Joneses", a social commentary with comedic elements that Derrick Borte is directing from his own script.
The story centers on a picture-perfect family that moves into a new suburban neighborhood and immediately becomes the toast of the town, loved and envied by all. But the reality is they are a commissioned fake family put together by a marketing company as a way to introduce new luxury-level products to neighborhoods around the world.
David plays the fake father, a man undergoing a crisis of confidence due to his living a lie.
The project is eyeing a mid-October start in Atlanta.
DD doing well
David is doing well, according to one of his co-stars on "Californication", Evan Handler (as Charlie).
He says, "The most I can say is that I hope he's doing really well - and I heard he is doing really well. I can't wait to go back on the set because the work experience is the best one that I've had. "
When asked if Duchovny would attend the series' premiere on September 28th, Handler added: "I have no idea whether I'll see him there or not. "

Enters Rehab for Sex Addiction

David Duchovny has entered a rehabilitation center for sex addiction, his lawyer, Stanton "Larry" Stein tells PEOPLE exclusively.
"I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction, " the actor says in an exclusive statement. "I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family. "
I thinking about the courage of David who made an own situation public. I pray for his recovery.

David Duchovny and his wife Tea Leoni are moving to New York. The 'X Files' star and the actress have put their house in Malibu, California, on the market and are said to be looking to move to Manhattan before their children - nine-year-old Madelaine and six-year-old Kyd - return to school later this year. The couple reportedly believe there are better schools in New York than in Malibu. David and Tea's 6,578 sq ft Malibu property - which has an asking price of $12 million - features ocean-views, five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a gym, two swimming pools and a three-car garage. The new owner will also receive membership in the La Costa Beach Club.

David Duchovny, who recently wrapped production on the sequel to 'The X Files Movie,' enjoyed pleasure and pain with actress Natascha McElhone, as they filmed a scene for the upcoming second season of his his Showtime series 'Californication' in LA yesterday,
Production on the series was delayed due to the writers' strike, which didn't bother the 47-year-old actor. He appreciated the break after stepping back into the role of Fox Mulder for the 'very dark and frightening' flick.
Fans of 'Californication' can expect to see some changes in the new season. David noted that the show 'lives right in between comedy and drama and you know comedies tend to retain the same characters in the same situations and dramas tend to change, so I think we'll change a little bit. But it's still a new show and especially on cable, you're only doing 12 [episodes] a year, so I think we're still finding our way.'

XF2 Cast Gets Three More
According to Hollywood Reporter, Rapper Xzibit, Amanda Peet and Billy Connolly have signed on The X-Files2. Sources said Xzibit and Peet will play fellow FBI agents to David Duchovny's Mulder and Gillian Anderson's Scully in the supernatural thriller with a stand-alone story, not a sequel or continuation of the hit 1998 feature adaptation. Citing a policy of secrecy surrounding the plot line, Fox would not confirm any details regarding the three actors' roles.

The X Files 2 Starts Shooting Dec. 10
After years of David Duchovny talking about the sequel, and almost 10 years after the first feature,
20th Century is finally ready to start production on The X Files 2 with the actor in place to reprise
his role of Special Agent Fox Mulder. Gillian Anderson is also expected to be back on board to play
Special Agent Dana Scully.
Shooting is scheduled to begin on December 10 in Vancouver under the direction of series creator Chris
Carter. Carter and Frank Spotnitz wrote the script.
The studio is referring to the film in casting breakdowns as "Done One."
The popular series ran on Fox from 1993 to 2002. Rob Bowman directed the first feature, which hit
theaters on June 19, 1998.
